Angelo and Solène are an Italian couple driven by a passion for food and a dream to bring authentic Italian flavors to Los Angeles.
Their food truck, Italia on the Road in Los Angeles, is their kitchen on wheels, serving a catering menu that blends authentic Italian cuisine with the spirit of street food.
They prepare three classic pasta dishes: Rigatoni alla Bolognese, slow-cooked with rich meat sauce; Penne al Pesto, made with fresh basil straight from Italy; and handmade Spinach & Ricotta Ravioli finished in butter and sage.
For their street menu, their signature wood-fired Pizza Pockets are baked to perfection and filled with Italian favorites: Pepperoni with Italian salami, Meatballs with Provolone cheese, classic Margherita, and a rotating Ham special that changes with the season.
Angelo and Solène can be found at breweries, festivals, and private events, and also specialize in elegant Italian catering: complete with aperitivi, small bites, and full menu experiences designed to bring the warmth, flavor, and joy of Italy to every occasion.
Their goal is simple: to make every event feel like a true Italian celebration, with great food, good vibes, and unforgettable taste.

meet the owners

Angelo & Solène are the owners of Italia on the Road, an Italian food truck based in Los Angeles.
Angelo was born and raised in Milan, Italy, where his passion for authentic food and hospitality began. After years working and traveling abroad, he met Solène in Australia, and together they later moved to Los Angeles in 2020 with a clear goal to bring real Italian street food to California.
In 2022, that vision became reality with the launch of Italia on the Road.
Today, they share the genuine flavors of Italy through fresh pasta, wood-fired pizza pockets, and elegant Italian catering, offering a true taste of Italy at every event.
