Meet Joe
Sicilian-born Guiseppe (Joe) Vitale, arrived in New York in 1978, and began as a baker and soon after a pizza maker. In 2003, he launched the famous Joe’s Pizza in Park Slope, Brooklyn, followed by another spot on King’s Highway. Expanding to Los Angeles in 2007, he opened the first outpost in Santa Monica, later adding a second on Sunset Boulevard. Joe’s Pizza has since grown to multiple locations across LA, including Hollywood, Downtown, Sherman Oaks, Beverly Hills, and Mid City, drawing in fans from both coasts with its classic pies and “A Taste of New York.” Now, you can savor their iconic slices fresh off their food truck!
