La Mochila City brings the bold and nostalgic flavors of Los Mochis, Sinaloa to Los Angeles through our signature Mexican style hot dogs. What started as a craving for a taste of home quickly became a mission to introduce a unique regional staple to a new audience.

 

Our hot dogs are built on a soft lightly toasted bun with a 100% turkey wiener, layered with fresh, flavorful toppings that create a perfect balance of textures and taste. The concept blends authenticity with a modern, elevated presentation that stands out at any event.

 

We chose this cuisine because it represents where we come from, Sinaloan street food culture that is vibrant, comforting, and deeply rooted in community. Our goal is to share that experience with every customer.

 

Some of our most popular menu items include our Clásico Hot Dog, the fully loaded Macho, and our specialty creations like the Ranchero and Pizza. Each item is crafted to be visually appealing, satisfying, and memorable.

La Mochila City was founded by Tania Ceballos, a Sinaloa born entrepreneur who brought her hometown flavors to Los Angeles with the vision of sharing an authentic and underrepresented Mexican street food experience.

 

After noticing that the iconic hot dogs from Los Mochis were not available anywhere in LA, Tania spent over a year perfecting every detail, from sourcing the right bread to finding a 100% turkey wiener that matched the flavor she grew up with.

 

Built from the ground up, La Mochila City reflects her passion for food, culture, and entrepreneurship. Today, she continues to grow the brand through pop ups, private catering, and large scale events, with long term plans to expand into a physical location and franchise across the United States.
