meet the duo
Hi, I'm Karina, co-manager of Soda City alongside my husband Grant. What began as a simple idea has grown into a deeply personal venture rooted in family, resilience, and purpose.
By day, I’m a special education teacher supporting students who are deaf or hard of hearing, visually impaired, or have orthopedic impairments. Raising their own hard-of-hearing son has shaped their “why”, they're building Soda City to show him (and others) that limitations don’t define what’s possible. Grant, a medically retired law enforcement officer injured in the line of duty, brings strength and unwavering support to every step of this journey.
Soda City reflects their story: a welcoming space centered on inclusivity, genuine connection, and joy. We offer more than great drinks, we create an environment where people can share stories and build meaningful memories together. For us, this is more than a business. It’s turning life’s challenges into something that unites people and supports their family’s future.
