John Que’s Smokeout stemmed from the owners upbringing in Louisiana, where food shows love and the barbecue pit brings joy! That love never left and only grew stronger as time went on. Eventually John Que’s Smokeout added soul food, and Caribbean cuisine to their menu. Some of the teams favorite items to cook and serve are smoked brisket, smoked pulled pork, beef and pork ribs, jerk chicken, sides of macaroni and cheese, collard greens, country style green beans with potatoes. You’ll have to try this savory goodness for yourself!

Meet John

John Guillory is the owner of John Que’s Smokeout. He was born and raised in Lake Charles Louisianna where he learned family recipes, and valuable lessons to be a pit-master. John later joined the U.S. Navy and served 4 years. In 2001 he met his lovely wife at work. They have now been married for 18 years. In 2018 they both left their jobs to pursue John’s dream of becoming a full time pit-master and Business Owner.
