Meet the Owners: Dean & Juan
Dean Bartlett is a physics teacher by day, a community leader working as an aquatics director at the local pool in Hawthorne, and a father of two boys. Of mixed descent, Dean was raised with Mexican culture and values. He has always been passionate about helping hardworking, honest people in his community. Dean co-founded Gochu Gang with the hope of serving people and making a positive impact through delicious food and community engagement.
Juan Lozano is a master of flavor and cooking, despite being formally untrained. His diverse work experience spans management in the fast food industry, the Department of Water and Power, and education. Juan is a fully credentialed high school English teacher and a father of two daughters. He brings his love of cooking from his Mexican upbringing to Gochu Gang, infusing every dish with rich, authentic flavors. Juan’s passion for food and dedication to quality make him an invaluable part of the team.
