Gabby has been an entrepreneur for the last 13 years, choosing to leave an office job as a bookkeeper in her late 20s and attend culinary school, graduating from Le Cordon Bleu with a specialty in baking & patisserie. Starting her first business (LA-Cake) right after graduation, when the only thing that was sure was that she wasn’t going to work for anyone. LA-Cake, led to her first mini cupcake truck. Growing up in Lincoln Heights, and no sense of what entrepreneurship really meant she put one step in front of the other and used every experience with her cupcake truck as a learning opportunity. Leaving the cake & cupcake truck behind was vital, at the time LA-Donut was nothing more than an idea and to see it succeeding even after 7 years is more than she ever hoped for.
