Meet Feridun Altun
“I worked in public service for many years. I always tried to do his job to the best of my abilities, but after ten years, I decided that there was nothing more I could achieve. My soul was yearning for a new excitement: it was asking me questions whose answers I knew! I knew the answers because whenever I was at home, I would always try to prepare delicious meals and cocktails, and setting up tables for my friends genuinely made me very happy. Then, one day, I found myself standing at the door of a culinary arts academy. That’s where the journey began. Afterwards, I worked in the A la carte kitchen at Istanbul Sheraton Hotel, and later, I managed the kitchen at Soleil Hotel in Kusadasi. But I needed a much more special project. I had to bring together the furthest points. The most luxurious meal had to reach the most ordinary table. To the streets! This is the embodiment of the American Dream for me!”
